Do you want one of your staff to have to go out late at night to attend an alarm activation? No? We can act as a keyholder and first response for your site, and as holders of Approved Contractor Status for Keyholding and Security Guarding, we will deliver a response service you can trust.

Do you want someone who will arrive at your site promptly to ensure everything is secure? Yes? We are a local business with a smaller geographic focus allowing us to maintain response times much faster than industry averages.

Do you want your employees exposed to the dangers of having to open and/or close the site alone where they may be vulnerable to attack and theft? No? Rely on us to be the first to the site in the morning and last to leave at night. Whether you wish for us to be on site in between is completely up to you.

Do you have a college, commercial property, retail space or vacant site you need protecting? Yes? We can support with 24/7 guarding of any of these premises or we can have our mobile patrol operative attend occasionally to ensure all is secure.

Do you need a caretaker for your school? Yes? Whilst not security, we adapted to the needs of our many clients in the education sector and began supplying caretakers based on pressing need.

Who are we?

Our Mission

Top Marks for Security Services Limited is a family-run business that was established in 2005 to provide keyholding and alarm response services across Lancashire and parts of Greater Manchester. In the years that followed, we expanded our range of services when requested to flexibly meet the needs of our clients.

We now provide a range of Security Services across the North West, including Blackburn, Preston, Chorley, Bolton, Manchester and the surrounding areas.

Between 2005 and 2020 we generated our business solely through referrals. We didn't even have a website. Despite this lack of marketing, we developed a company which was delivering services to over 150 client sites. How we were able to do this was simple. We provide rapid response services for our valued clients, flexing to accommodate our clients needs, and impressing our customers with our quality that they just had to tell their networks.

A large proportion of our business supports public and education sector clients, we also maintain a customer base across sectors such as retail, manufacturing and professional and legal services. We deliver around the clock security services to these clients, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Our security operatives are all trained SIA licensed Security Guards who share our core values and desire to do right by our clients.
